SOME stunning work created by embroiderers from the South Zeal, Sticklepath and Okehampton areas will be on show at a major exhibition at Castle Drogo this month.
Members of the Cheriton Bishop branch of West Country Embroiderers will be on hand at the exhibition, which runs from September 1 to 13, taking part in demonstrations, including weaving, tapestry, goldwork, hand and machine embroidery and stumpwork.
There is no additional admission charge to the exhibition, which is open between 11am and 5pm, although normal castle admission fees apply.
