THERE was a definite sense of the festive season in the air in Tavistock this week, as shoppers and visitors to the town were met with the sight of reindeer on Bedford Square — and a sleigh drawn by a beautiful white pony, led by elves!
The tableau was part of Santa's Crystal Grotto and Craft Fayre, held in the town hall over five days, and organised by the Flight of the Phoenix charity.
Proceeds from the event are being donated to local good causes and projects run by the charity.
