AN election has been requested following the resignation of Shaun Watchorn from West Devon Borough Council earlier this month. Nomination papers for those who would like to stand for election to the Tavistock North Ward seat will be available from Wednesday January 2 at West Devon Borough Council's Kilworthy Park offices. The council's Kilworthy Park offices reopen on January 2 following the Christmas and New Year holidays. Completed nomination forms will be accepted at the council offices from Friday January 4 with the final deadline for receipt being noon on Friday January 11.
