A YOUNG Spreyton girl was so moved by the appalling pictures of the tsunami disaster shown on television that she begged her mother to do something to raise money for the appeal. The idea of ?Eleanor?s coffee morning? was subsequently born and ten-year-old Eleanor Hedley-Dent and her young friend Natalie Filor ran a stall at the event. Eleanor?s mother, Judith, organised the raffle, and her grandmother Mrs Davies served the coffee and tea. The event made a profit of £133 for the disaster appeal.
