CALLINGTON Community College performed its production of Little Shop of Horrors last week to rave reviews from parents and the local community, who gasped in awe at the talent, props and set design — which included a 6ft dentist drill and a giant plant.
The singing, dancing and puppetry work was said to be ‘truly marvellous’ and staff members Mr Plunkett, Mr Proctor and Mr Lane, along with the cast and backstage crew, pulled out all the stops to make it ‘one of the funniest, liveliest and most magical shows’ the college has ever staged.
The costumes and choreography all worked together to create a production of professional quality.
Mr Plunkett said: ‘I am so proud of our wonderful students who worked tirelessly to bring Little Shop of Horrors to life.
‘Whether they were actors, set designers, musicians or puppeteers, this really showed off their skills and the talent on display was second to none.’
