OKEHAMPTON produced their best performance of the season.
Initially, finishing was a problem, with many shots going wide until Chris Holland, after a defence-beating run, lobbed the keeper to open the scoring.
Tiverton would have equalised were it not for Scott Tremain clearing off the line ? he was relentless in defence, so often being the barrier to a likely goal.
Alex Osman was creative in midfield and often retrieved the ball for Okehampton whose next goal came when Holland shrugged off two defenders to shoot low past the keeper.
Soon after half-time he got his hat-trick with a powerful long shot. There was no stopping him then ? a fourth came from a goal-line scramble and his fifth when he took a corner and curled it, untouched, into the net.
Midfield dynamo Carl Pointer got a well-deserved goal with a run around the defence and an accurate shot.
Tiverton rallied towards the end and Simon Lines had to produce excellent saves to ensure Okehampton?s victory.
