IT'S THAT time of year where flowers slowly wake up, the sun is getting warmer and the friends of Delaware County Primary School race 350 small yellow ducks down the Mill stream at Cotehele to raise money.
The event is on March 27 at 11am and there will be various associated activities, including face painting, a recycled boat race and a raffle.
Starting at the main park participants will have to find clues for a treasure trail through the woods before arriving at the river.
The friends are grateful to Cotehele and the National Trust and Dave's Chipshop at Gunnislake for sponsoring the trophy. Special guests will be town crier Hilary Fairhurst and Callington Portreeve Rick Lumley.
