THE annual Lamerton Duck Race and Fete will be held this Sunday (June 5) and this year the event will be kicked-off with a fun run.

The fun run will start at 1pm with an open race, followed at 1.15pm with a junior race. Both races will start from Lamerton Village Hall and finish at Broady Field.

Entrants for both runs must book at the village hall from noon onwards.

Tavistock's marathon runner Adam Holland, the youngest runner to complete 100 marathons, will start the fun run and on completion of the races he will start the duck race at around 2pm — during which visitors will be able to wander around the various stalls, and enjoy games, cream teas and a barbecue.
