HEAVY metal drummer Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden will be the star of the show at the latest drum clinic organised by Project Music in Exeter. Following the phenomenal success of their recent drum clinic at the Barnfield Theatre, Exeter, Project Music, run by Lee St Pier and Emma Butcher from Bratton Clovelly, will be hosting another event at the same venue on Tuesday, September 27. Nicko will be demonstrating his amazing playing technique and talking about equipment, practising, showmanship and all other aspects of live performance. There will be a question and answer session which is sure to prove fun, as Nicko has earned something of a reputation for his hilarious sense of humour, plus a prize draw and special offers. Given the recent resurgence in the popularity of Iron Maiden and as the previous event was almost a sell-out, drummers of all ages, styles and ability are advised to book early.
