The driver of a car had to be cut free at Sandhill, Gunnislake last Sunday evening following an accident.
Callington firefighters were called to the scene at around 9.30pm. There was no other vehicle involved and the driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was taken to hospital. The road was closed for about half-an-hour.
