A TEENAGE driver who was airlifted to Derriford Hospital last week following a serious road accident is still in a critical condition in hospital. The driver has been named as 18-year-old Laoni Weeks from the Lifton area. Her Citroen Saxo was in collision with a Ford Transit van at Greystone Bridge on the B3362 at Lawhitton on December 2. Miss Weeks was taken to hospital by air ambulance suffering from serious head and back injuries. The two occupants of the van were shocked but suffered no other injuries. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collisions to contact them on 08452 777444 quoting log number 216 02/12/04.
