A DRAMA company that works with adults who have learning disabilities is inviting anyone interested in joining them to get in touch.

Get Changed's mission is to raise the profile of the disability community and change public attitudes towards those with disabilities by creating and performing high quality arts projects.

As a specialist arts organisation, Get Changed has the necessary expertise to empower people with a range of disabilities through dance, music, mime, storytelling and acting.

From September 2012, Get Changed participants will be able to undertake National Open College Network qualifications in 'exploring performance' and 'exploring dance' while attending the weekly Wednesday workshops.

The group currently has three spaces available for new participants to join the group.

Anyone over 16 with a learning disability who is interested has been invited to visit the group and experience one of the workshop sessions.

Get Changed meets on Wednesdays at Okehampton Conservative Club between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
