RESIDENTS of Drakewalls and the surrounding area are invited to have a say on what they would like to see in a new community learning centre. The centre is being built at Delaware Community Primary School at Drakewalls, and an open day on Saturday from 10am to 4pm is being held to give the community its chance to have a say on what it contains. Ginny Jackett, school governor and treasurer of the learning centre, said they wanted to encourage people of all ages to take part in the open day. ?We will build on and enhance the good work already being achieved in the area and will have provision for child care, a kids club, homework clubs, ICT, provision for teenagers and young people, and adult education ? including courses for economic benefit,' she said.
