I AM writing in response to the cinema going to the Market Hall in Okehampton. Why could it not go over at the Old Mill site and have a bowling alley, good restaurant and maybe a fast food bar? If this was used with the old garden centre site there would be enough room for all of this and more so now we have a new leisure centre and park equipment and car parking this end of town. Then the market traders could stay in the Market Hall and if the council wanted to it would be filled, but no, they would rather close it down. Do they want Okehampton to become a ghost town, as this is what will happen? J Reynolds 47 Northfield Road Okehampton
