THE loss of our beloved Queen Mother was indeed a sad occasion, bringing people from all over the world, thousands of miles, to enable them to pay their last respects.
Together with those, and all the people in the streets, it must have amounted to millions of people.
This brings me to a point.
Was there perhaps an opportunity missed, to help those in dire need, eg the poor, or maybe hospitals etc, by having a few simple examples of what we read in our newspaper obituary columns daily over and over again?
'Family flowers only, but donations if desired, to a named charity'.
