A SPRINGER spaniel went missing on Dartmoor this week after being frightened by a helicopter.

The 12-year-old dog, which has liver and white coloured fur, ran off at 4.30pm on Tuesday at Ditsworthy, Warren House, and was last seen at Guttertor.

'Basil' was wearing a blue collar with no name tag. Anyone who thinks they may have seen him is urged to telephone the owners on 01822 616702.
