Okehampton Netball League

In the first division fixture between Dodgers and Sprites both teams were evenly matched and the game produced good netball.

Dodgers began to pull away due to excellent shooting from Linda Clinch and Tania Attewell.

Sprites have had some changes to their regular side and their goal shooter gave a creditable performance despite her relative inexperience in this position. The final score was Dodgers 53 Sprites 26.

Players of the match: Lyn Strawbridge and Rennee Brown for Sprites and Tracey Smith for Dodgers.

In the second division 7UP played the young newly formed Helz Angels. Helz Angels put up a good fight but the defence of Jemima Smith and Georgie Colton proved too strong.

7 UP's shooters gave an excellent performance in the circle and Helz Angels just lacked the experience to stop the goals going in. A good all round performance by 7 UP but Helz Angels battled to the end and Holly Sampson managed a consolation goal .

Final score, 7 UP 94 Helz Angels 1.
