THIS year a different set of gardens will be open to the public for charity.

More Secret Gardens of Belstone will welcome visitors who can wander and admire the view from a range of gardens in the village.

Funds raised at the popular event will go towards Children's Hospice South West.

Visitors can also stop off at The Barton and enjoy refreshments by the Children's Hospice South West Belstone and Area Friends' Group, who will welcome them with light snacks, cream teas, cakes and beverages.

Programmes for all the gardens can be purchased from garden one and cost £3 a head for unlimited visits. Entry for children is free. The event is on Sunday, May 16 from 11am until 5pm. Visitors can park in the village car park and follow the signs to the gardens.
