RAY Retter and Steve Sage were both in action in Plymouth Corinthians cycle club?s 25 mile time trial at Buckfastleigh on Sunday.

The morning dawned bright and fairly still, a complete contrast to the forecasted strong winds and heavy rain that everyone was expecting.

Despite the reasonable conditions both Ray and Steve were disappointed by their times. Steve completed the 25 mile course in 58:16 and Ray who was still recovering from his efforts in the previous weekend?s 12 hour national time trial championship, clocked 59:26.

On Sunday both riders will be joined by ten of their club mates as North Devon Wheelers have entered three teams in C.S. Dynamo?s 4up, 40km time trial at Feniton.
