WITH nothing to separate the teams during the first quarter this looked to be an evenly matched game. In the second quarter FBI held the lead by two goals and were playing well, however, Speedwells came out in the third quarter showing true grit and determination and powered ahead to lead by 10 goals going into the last quarter. FBI rallied slightly but could not claw back their lead and finished the match losing by 16 goals.

Okehampton Junior League: The standard of netball in the junior league continues to improve each week and Monday saw another two good games of netball. Jems continue to dominate the first division however Illuminators certainly played some excellent netball to give Jems a great game. Jems 11 v Illuminators 4.

In the second division Pink Flamingoes continue to show real determination and their matches are always played in great spirit with the score never truly reflecting the game; this match was no exception. However LOL X were on fine form and Flamingoes could not break them down with LOL X winning 20 goals to 0.
