With the expertise of heritage officers from South West Lakes, Year 4 pupils at Kelly College Prep School enjoyed an action-packed morning at Lopwell Dam on the River Tavy.

After dashing through the woodlands as 'Nature Detectives' the pupils investigated invertebrates by carrying out pond dipping.

The trip ended with ice-creams all round from Jayne and her team at The Old Pump House Café.
