MORTGAGE rates took a back seat to heart rates recently when the Okehampton branch of Cheltenham and Gloucester visited the Parklands Leisure Centre. The firm manned a stand at the leisure centre to talk to gym users, swimmers and sportspeople interested in finding out more about financial services. C & G also had a stall in Red Lion Yard. The company ran a prize draw for everyone who visited them and completed a form, with the winner getting a £50 voucher for use at the leisure centre. The lucky winner was Denton Williams from Okehampton, who is pictured with Steve Cockram, fitness manager at Parklands and Chris Hurley, branch manager of C & G Okehampton.
