I WOULD like to pass on my congratulations to Miss Suzanne Sanders and the dancers of SJS Dance Academy for the great show they produced at Marjons on the 9th and 10th April 2005. The sixth Day of Dance was performed three times and involved 150 dancers. As you will appreciate a lot of work goes into shows such as these and I feel it is only right that the young people involved are recognised for their talents and effort. The Dance Academy produces a show on alternate years and has produced shows for over eight years now. On each occasion, the proceeds of the shows have been donated to Children?s Hospice South West. This year, the show raised the magnificent sum of £2,360.32. I would like to thank Miss Sanders and her dancers for their continuing support. I think it is particularly nice to think that young people are able to do something that they really enjoy and are able to make a difference for those less fortunate than themselves. SJS Academy meet on Saturday mornings at Kingdon House, Tavistock and at Stoke Climsland during the week. Caroline Greep Children?s Hospice South West Tavistock Friends? Group
