Kingsbridge RFC U11s 12 Tavistock RFC U11s 35 A NEARLY complete squad travelled to Kingsbridge last Sunday to be confronted by a bitingly cold wind from the sea. The high availability enabled a strong and confident first half scrum to be fielded The scrummages were consistently won by Tavistock enabling the ball to be quickly circulated to the waiting centres and backs. On the few first half occasions Kingsbridge took possession they demonstrated similar strengths in their centres although Tavistock capitalised on nearly every handling error. Tavistock started from the first whistle with determined play to establish their dominance. The possession paid off with an early try from Frazer Bayliss who touched down a loose ball on the Kingsbridge line. The pattern continued with a second try from Sam Northmore in the corner from an offloaded ball from Rhys Davies. The third try was provided by Will Coulton with a fast sprint down the opposite wing from a long pass by scrum half Frazer Bayliss A fourth try was delivered by Rhys Davies from one of his typical dashes. Kingsbridge were able to win the ball and were rewarded by two well deserved tries. A final Tavistock try was a second for Rhys Davies.
