Duchy League Division Five Stoke Climsland 2 St Teath Res 1 BOTH teams started brightly with each of the goalkeepers pulling off some saves to keep the score goalless. Soon the pressure would pay off and the away side took the lead with a neat finish. The half-time whistle came and Stoke, after losing top-scorer James Wing through injury in the first half, came out for the next 45 minutes rejuvenated. The equaliser came only a few minutes into the second half with Joe Drabble turning his marker and picking out the top corner. The goal gave new confidence to Stoke as they kept on the pressure and eventually took the lead through another neat finish from Drabble. With twenty minutes to go the game was not won as St Teath never gave up and the score could have been different but for some heroic defending from Stoke.
