TROPHIES and certificates were presented to the winners of the Chamber of Commerce annual floral competition last Friday.
The winning displays of dazzling colour had been chosen by judges Norma Woodcock, mayor of Tavistock, Philip Hartnoll, chairman of chamber, and Amanda Randell, florist and chamber member.
The winners were: Ordulph Arms, best display on frontage; Paddon?s Row, best group display; Market perimeter shops, best use of space; Mayflower Galleries, best shop window display.
Highly commended certificates went to: Crebers, Dartmoor Photographics, Duke?s Coffee Shop, Donella?s, Kingfisher Cottage B&B, April Cottage B&B, Blacksmith?s Arms, Bryant?s of Tavistock, The Chipshop Inn and Tavistock Gas and Stove Centre.
