OKEHAMPTON Baptist Church will be taking part in a worldwide prayer event that is expected to involve more than three million people.

The church will host a service on Friday March 2 at 2pm for the Women's World Day of Prayer.

More than three million people will be praying and worshipping during the annual day of prayer, using a form of service prepared by Christian women in Malaysia under the theme of 'Let Jusice Prevail'.

The church's speaker this year is Jacquie Keenan, a member of the National Council for the Women's World Day of Prayer. All are invited to join in the service, including men.
