THE Okehampton Golf Club ladies section aggregate competition winners were Penny Deakin and Marcia Holwill.

The individual silver winner was Dawn Phillott, 34 points, and the bronze winner Doris Jewell, also had an excellent 34 points.

In the finals of the Sheelah Creasy county competition Woodbury played Ilfracombe and Torquay played Libbaton.

Some excellent golf was played with Woodbury and Torquay claiming the final match. The afternoon match saw Woodbury coping much better with the conditions and the course to win the Sheelah Creasy Trophy.
