AN article in a recent edition of the prestigious 'Digital Photographer' magazine has named Dartmoor as one of the top 50 locations in the world for landscape photography.
Among inspiring locations from across the globe, the quiet natural beauty of Dartmoor was not left unappreciated.
The Grand Canyon, with its awesome display of geological formations, claimed the top position. Thailand came in at second on the list with Glen Etive, Scotland, in third place.
Reaching the impressive heights of number nine on the list, Dartmoor beat a multitude of other exotic destinations, including Spain and Egypt, for a spot in the top ten.
With the moor's undulating hills, craggy tors and array of colours, it is easy to understand why.
