DARTMOOR Border Morris will be out and about this summer in various pubs and country fairs highlighting its nominated charity The Mary Budding Trust. The trust supports primary school aged children in West Devon who have special educational needs. The Morris side is very family-based and welcomes anyone who would like to have a go, whether dancing or playing a musical instrument. The group is sponsored by Dartmoor Brewery, so although the dancing can be quite physical at times, they do have a good social time with interesting music sessions. Apart from events at local pubs, some of the group's highlights have been the Royal Cornwall Show, Widecombe Fair and the Looe Festival of Music.
