A CONTEMPORARY dance production will be performed in Callington Town Hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm.

'Obstacles and Horizons' is by SpinDrift, a local professional dance company, which also works with local schools and runs workshops.

Twenty performers will take part in this latest production and there will be eight pieces in total.

Principal dancers will be Suzie West. who has extensive technical expertise, and choreographic experience. Her work filters through from professional practice in the South West to her seven years of experience as a head of dance, and Sarah Farrow Jones, who after training at Laban, went on to train in dance movement therapy.

Her seven years of work as an animateur in the community sector has involved much work with dance and disability and adult dance projects.

Sarah has also trained in fashion, textiles and interior design with a passion for creating work with large set designs and costumes. Sarah has recently performed with SpinDrift and Promnesia Dance Company.

Tickets are £6 in advance at the town hall or Kivells or £8 on the door and £4 or £3 for under 18s, family (2+2) £15 or £20. The bar opens at 7pm.
