aAN annual phenomenon has appeared on Whitchurch Down where, on the football pitch, the lines marked out in white during the winter season are currently defined by strong growths of daisies. Evidently they flourish on the ingredient of the substance used.

At the moment it would almost be possible to play a game of football without further marking!
