DJM U15s Defiance
Southgate Utd 6
Horrabridge Rangers 0
THE home side from Launceston found themselves last week two goals up inside two minutes after Horrabridge failed to clear their lines twice.
The visitors then started to play some good football with Taylor Kingham and Jack Northam passing the ball well. The Southgate keeper made three fine saves in the half to deny Josh Birch, Tom Wright and Courtney Fry.
Southgate scored two further goals to make it 4-0 by half-time.
With Horrabridge attacking their opponents at every opportunity, Southgate were always going to be a threat on the counter attack, which produced two more goals for the home side.

Horrabridge Rangers 4
Keyham Colts 2
RANGERS started this quarter-final at blistering pace and opened the scoring after 10 minutes when Taylor Kingham found space on the edge of the 18 yard box to fire home into the corner of the net.
Five minutes later they doubled their lead when Tom Wright beat three players before having his shot saved but Billy Rawlinson tapped in the rebound. Keyham then played some decent football but the defence of Ryder, Johnson Northam and Glanville were in superb form. However, when Harry Eaton played Wright through and he was up-ended in the box; Eaton converted the penalty to make it 3-0 to Rangers at half time.
Keyham started the second half well and only two fine saves from Horrabridge keeper Ollie Cox kept them at bay before the Colts pulled one back on 60 minutes courtesy of an own goal.
Horrabridge almost replied immediately when Tom Wright's pace beat two defenders before he crossed for Josh Birch to tee up Max Burgess who smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
Keyham scored a late consolation goal through a superstrike from Ley.
Horrabridge now play Plymstock Utd in the semi-finals of the cup.
