THERE were no games for Tavistock?s Carlsberg and P&D squads last weekend. Tavistock?s trip to Porthleven in the Carlsberg South Western League was postponed early on Saturday morning due to a waterlogged pitch, and the P&D side?s game at home was postponed due to the tragic death of one of the opponent?s players on New Year?s Eve.
This Saturday sees the Carlsberg side back in action in the Westinsure Devon Premier Cup quarter-final with a home fixture against fellow league side Plymouth Parkway. The match kicks off at 2pm with extra time and penalties if needed.
l Okehampton Argyle?s Devon & Exeter Premier home game against Budleigh Salterton last Saturday was also postponed.
