THE VILLAGE of Ashwater held its 55th annual show on Saturday, August 21, with large crowds enjoying the wide variety of attractions.
In addition to a horse show, show-jumping and a gymkana, the day?s events also included a dog show, birds of prey giving both static and flying displays and archery.
Ashwater Show is held in conjunction with the village?s horticultural show and has become a major event in the village calendar.
Show organisers say plans are already underway for next year?s show which is due to take place on Saturday, August 20.
