YELVERTON Bohemians Cricket Club begin its 2011 pre-season indoor practice sessions at the end of January.
They are to be held every Friday evening at Plymouth College Sports Hall, Ford Park Road, Plymouth between 6pm-8pm and will run from January 28 until the end of April. The sessions are organised and run by ECB CA qualified coaches.
This friendly, family orientated club are looking to recruit players of all standards for the forthcoming season. As well as running three Saturday League XI's (two of whom play in the Devon Cricket League and one in the Tamar League) the club has friendly Sunday XI fixtures and an Evening League XI to cater for all standards. The club also has a thriving Junior Colts Academy with more than 100 members. Last season its U11s won the league and cup 'double'.
At the club's picturesque Langton Park ground there are two all-weather practice nets available as well as grass nets and a bowling machine. The club bar is always well stocked and new applications for social membership are also welcome.
