A FIRE engine from Okehampton was mobilised to Maceys Terrace on December 27 to reports of a fire in a toaster.

On arrival crews confirmed there was a small fire in the ground floor kitchen of a mid terraced house involving a toaster and waste paper.

The fire was out on arrival and crews checked the area was safe.
