THERE will be spooky goings on at Lamerton Community Hall at the end of the month as the Milton Abbot Community Group host a Family Halloween Disco and Games.

The event, on Friday October 28, will start with a children's disco and games, including a buffet from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, followed by a family disco from 7.30pm to late.

Fancy dress is optional but there will be prizes for the best dressed and to create the mood there will be spooky laser effects and creeping fog.

The event is to raise funds for the Milton Abbot Community Group and C Hoskin and family — a local family whose seven-year-old son has recently been diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.
