MANY thanks to the First Western National depot at Tavistock for returning my ?lost property?.

Last Monday week I returned by bus to Bere Alston from Tavistock, and having a ?senior moment?, left a bag of shopping on the bus. Realising that the next service from Tavistock would arrive in an hour, I met this bus and spoke to the driver (hoping that my bag would still be on board). He didn?t have the bag, but suggested I phone the depot, and if they had the bag, he?d bring it to Bere Alston on the next bus.

This I did ? they had my bag at the depot ? and it was delivered into my hands an hour later.

I feel a public word of thanks is due to all those at the company who were so helpful to me. Bus companies often come in for a lot of bad press, so this is a chance for a word of praise for our excellent local depot at Tavistock.
