A SUCCESSFUL cream tea was held at Tamar Valley Methodist Church, organised by members of the Callington and Gunnislake Circuit Methodist Women In Britain.
About £380 was raised, which is being donated to the Jaipur Limbs — artificial limbs developed in Jaipur, in India.
This is the charity which Mrs Mary Tucker of Launceston has chosen while she is district president of MWIB.
Mrs Tucker who was present at the cream tea and gave a presentation and showed a video of the work done for Jaipur limbs.
She was introduced by Mrs Janet Tomlinson, president of the Callington and Gunnislake circuit.
