PARENTS or grandparents are invited to try their hand at craft work while their children are entertained with constructive play activities at the United Church Centre in Princetown each Thursday afternoon.
The recently-started group aims to provide the opportunity for parents or grandparents with children up to five years old to come together in a relaxed atmosphere.
It is led by two qualified workers, a children?s worker and an adult worker.
The simple introduction to various crafts has so far included glass and silk painting, birthday and seasonal decorations, decorated picture frames, and flower arranging.
There is a small charge for the afternoon sessions, which run from 1-3pm, which includes refreshments and craft materials.
