The Summer Craft Fair returns to the National Trust's Buckland Abbey on Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29. From 10.30am to 5.30pm, the Great and Small Barns will be awash with 40 stalls of quality local crafts, food and drink for sale. There will also be children's games, face painting and music in and around the Great Barn, on both days, to provide entertainment for all the family. Following the lead of Tavistock as one of the best food towns in Britain, the Abbey has invited local food producers to their craft fair this summer. Visitor services manager at Buckland Abbey, Jonathan Cummins said: 'Exquisite crafts including jewellery, textiles and paintings will be mixed with local beers, ciders and cheese to ensure there is something for everyone.' The estate, abbey, restaurant and shop will be open as usual. Admission: £1 per person for craft fair and grounds, including National Trust members. Normal admission to the Abbey.
