A WIDE selection of locally produced crafts and other items will be on sale at visitor reception on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December between 11am - 4.30pm. Crafts include handmade Christmas soaps, decorations and cards; dollhouses and wooden crafts, handmade shoes, knitwear, baskets and ironwork. Light refreshments will be available in the castle restaurant between 11am - 4pm. The shop at visitor reception will be open between 11am - 4pm, selling a wide range of gifts and cards for Christmas.

On Sunday, December 7 following on from the Craft Fair the local parish is holding its annual Carolcade event at Castle Drogo this year. The torchlight procession, led by St Nicholas in a pony and trap, begins at visitor reception at 4pm and winds its way down the drive to the castle forecourt. There will be a short nativity scene and carols, followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

The garden at Castle Drogo remains open throughout the winter between 10.30am to 4pm every day.
