CRAFTS and produce will be on sale at the monthly market and coffee shop at Buckland Monachorum Village Hall this Saturday, followed by an evening quiz.
The market and coffee shop, as well as selling local produce and refreshments, will exhibit the paintings of Evonne Rayner in aid of Help for Heroes.
The market and coffee shop will take place from 10am to noon.
Following the market, there will be a quiz night taking place in the hall on Saturday evening from 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Teams of up to six are invited to take part at £2 per person, and guests are asked to bring their own refreshments.
There will also be a jumble sale taking place in the hall the following week on Saturday March 20, from 2pm to 4pm.
Anyone wishing to donate jumble, bric-a-brac or books, should bring the items to the hall on the morning of the sale, between 10am and noon.
All money raised from these events, except for the Help for Heroes exhibition, will go towards funds for Buckland Monachorum Village Hall.
The hall committee is currently fundraising to purchase new tables and chairs, and a hearing loop for the hall.
