DEVON County Golf Union have teamed up with Coors Brewer after agreeing a sponsorship deal for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. As part of the two-year agreement, DCGU's first and seniors teams, including those in West Devon, have been supplied with sponsored clothing to wear at their matches and events. DCGU secretary John Hirst is hoping the deal, which will see samples of Carling C2 lager supplied to all 45 clubs affiliated to the DCGU, will be of mutual benefit to both the Union and Coors.
