Sections will include poultry and waterfowl, breeding sheep, store lambs, and special section for halter-led ponies.
Talk of the sale has already generated interest and a number of entries have been received for all types of livestock.
Sheep breeds include rare and natives as well as some commercials. These include Kerry Hill, Grey and White-Faced Dartmoor, Texel, Suffolk and Mules.
There will be other attractions at the show and fair, including local craftsman and businesses. Event organisers say the whole family will be welcome.

Other sales at the market include the store cattle fair on Monday, October 1, the annual Dartmoor Pony sale on Thursday, October 11, followed by a suckled calve sale on Thursday, November, 22 and the annual Chagford collective machinery sale on Saturday, November 24.
