COTEHELE estate near St Dominick is organising a host of activities for a special playday on August 4.
The theme of this year's playday, which is taking place across the country in National Trust properties, is 'Our Place' which encourages families to get out and explore the areas local to them. Children and parents can cook up a storm in the kitchens, where they can decorate their own cookies or hunt for bugs in the gardens and follow the clues for a nature trail. There will be something going on throughout the day.
Playday will run from 11am-4pm on August 4. National Trust admission applies for adults, but children go free for the day. Cotehele has a full programme of summer events for all the family, from crafts in the education room to a pirate day on The Quay! Telephone 01579 351346 for more details.
