LOCAL chef Peter Gorton will be visiting pupils at Horrabridge Primary School on Monday, to host a cookery demonstration morning to help raise funds for the school's cookery club.

Mandy Parkes has organised the event to raise funds to purchase full sets of aprons for the school cookery club and some cookery equipment. The event will also see the launch of a Cookery Club recipe book.

The cookery book is in response to parental requests to try out the dishes made at the successful cookery club.

The club is well attended and has sessions for all ages from four to 11.

Peter Gorton has offered to help with the fundraising and host a 'Festive Food' demonstration morning as well as working and creating something with some of the children who attend the club.
