POLICE and Dartmoor Rescue were this week looking for a man missing on Dartmoor since Saturday. The man, Kevin Durham, 51, from London, was due to stay overnight on Saturday at the Youth Hostel at Bellever, but failed to arrive. It is known he intended to walk from Okehampton to the hostel, but had not been seen since leaving on Saturday morning. Mr Durham was described as of slight build, with short grey hair, clean shaven, wearing a dark jacket, dark hat and carrying a rucksack. As the Times went to press this week, searches had been called off and enquiries were being made in the London area. However, the man remained missing and officers are concerned for his welfare.
