IN the battle of the Tavistock Social Club snooker league basement, Conservative C continue there recent run of form pulling themselves further away from the bottom of the table with a well earned hard fought win over Conservative B.
Conservative B went one up with a good win by Williams over Maloney, only to be pegged back by Bassett who eventually overcame Hoare.
Conservative B again took the lead with Nolan continuing his recent winning ways with a win over Craze.
Down to the final deciding frame, it was very much an 'ebb and flow' game with both Conservative C's Neale and Conservative B's Roffey respectively taking the lead only to be pegged back again by the other. It was a timely first win of the season for Neale taking the pink and the black that provided a 3-2 win for Con C.
